Marine 58 Transporting from the Scene of a Traumatic Injury on Canyon Lake

On July 2, 2013 Canyon Lake Fire / EMS (Marine 58) responded to the Canyon Lake shoreline at North Park for a reported traumatic injury. Upon the arrival of Marine 58 a young male was discovered who had fallen approximately 20 feet onto a rock surface. Firefighter / Medics were treating and packaging the patient for transport via Marine 58 to an awaiting ambulance. The patient was safely transported to an awaiting ambulance at the Canyon Lake Marina and then transported to a trauma center via aeromedical helicopter.

Airlife Landing

Canyon Lake Fire / EMS conducted training sessions with Airlife to receive continuing education on establishing safe Landing Zones and aircraft familiarization.
