Citizen’s Fire Academy

The academy is designed for residents of our community who would like to know what it is like to be a firefighter and how to make our community a safer place to live. Activities include hands-on experiences with professional firefighters in fire prevention, rescue, communications, hazardous materials identification, extinguisher training, basic first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and demonstration of tactical vehicle extrication.
